Business Development Manager

Territory:  West and Southwest, with focus on the states of WA, OR, ID, CA, CO

If you are passioned about CPG and have a proven track record in food sales, we have the right 
job for you. Work experience within Deli and Grocery categories is preferred. Having a reliable 
network and relationship with brokers and buyers will add sufficient value.


Role responsibilities:

Sustain and grow business with existing accounts, generate leads and pursue prospective customers. Secure effective business development within the covered area. Develop and implement growth strategies.

 

Main duties and responsibilities:

•    Obtain good understanding of company's portfolio and build ability to confidently present. 
•    Prepare and develop customized pitches and presentations to prospect clients in both in-person and virtual sales meetings.
•    Develop and maintain excellent relationship with customers, demonstrate commitment via regular follow-ups. 
•    Gain comprehensive understanding of customers' specific business needs to develop mutually beneficial proposals and grow sales. 
•    Conduct research and underline strategic growth opportunities. Identify new business possibilities in new sales channels, new customers, and trends. 
•    Generate leads and pursue prospect accounts. 
•    Negotiate cooperation terms in the best company interest. 
•    Negotiate sales contract terms and make sure they are executed as agreed. 
•    Follow agreed go-to-market strategy.
•    Develop and ensure the implementation of regional business plan. 
•    Develop and follow annual promotional plan for major accounts within budget. 
•    Keep track of competitive activities and market trends - including but not limited to price positioning levels, new brands and product ranges, promotions, shelve shares, etc.
•    Keep track and report status of ongoing leads, customer activities and other projects in company CRM.
•    Manage and present the company in accordance with all relevant law requirements.

Requirements:
